Axaio software a solution provider for PDF creation, has released MadeToTag public beta 3, an updated version of the InDesign plug-in for preparation of documents to tagged PDF files, ensuring optimal accessibility.
SInce the MadeToTag beta program launched in January 2012 the software has been continuously updated and fixed and the latest beta, version 3, includes two major updates including a new ‘Color Contrast Analyser’ feature. This feature checks the InDesign document for missing colour contrasts so that it is easy to read for visually impaired people or people with low color vision.

Tagged PDF’s assist screen reader devices for visually impaired people, or reading software for users with learning disabilities, to provide access to PDF content. In addition, tagged PDFs enable substantially better indexing by search engines and more reliable text extraction or conversion to other formats.

The beta 3 version is available in English only and can be downloaded free of charge on the Axaio software website. The MadeToTag public beta 3 version requires Adobe InDesign CS5.5 or CS6 and is available for Mac v10.5/10.6/10.7 and Windows Vista and Windows 7. The final version of MadeToTag will be shipped in mid 2012.
